GIFT FOR MY HUSBAND

Hubby's birthday is fast approaching. Everytime I ask him what he wanted for a gift, he always answer "nothing". For him, my present is already a very nice gift. But still I always give him something. I already started to shop for his gift but since he's not here and we don't know if he will be here on his birthday, I stop shopping. I already found some but I don't want to send it to him by mail. I would love to go in Alberta to be with him on his special day but I know it's impossible. One of my co-worker gave his resignation letter today and it means that I will have to work over time until my boss will find somebody to replace him.

When I was talking to him this morning, he told me that the weather there is very cold and maybe they will have snow in the weekend. He don't have winter boots there and he's thinking of buying one. Oh oh, he's giving me an idea for his gift :-) I told him to just wait maybe the weather will go up since we're still in mid-september.

I've search in the net for winter boots that I can order and deliver directly to where he is. I found the one that I like (the photo above) and i know that hubby will love it. A nice boots from Clarks shoes. It's a leather boots and it's warm enough for the winter, from his condo to the office. I guess it's perfect. I like the style, it's elegant. I will order this soon so that he will have this on or before his birthday. I'm so excited now.

SISTER-IN-LAW’S BIRTHDAY

I received a call yesterday from my sister-in-law. She invited me for her birthday party. The party will be held in a resort this coming July. I feel very bad because I will not be here on her party because I’m leaving June 18 for Philippines and be back here first week of August. I would really love to be in her party because this is so special for her. It’s her 60th birthday celebration. I don’t want to cancel my trip too because I already have my ticket and I don’t want to miss this opportunity to see my family especially my three nieces and my nephew that will born end of this month. I was thinking last night to give her a special gift that she will really love it. I know her likes. I gave her a batik shirt from Philippines before. I bought it during our vacation in Philippines and she was very happy. She likes it very much and since then, she use to buy batik stuff. So, I decided this morning to buy her batik stuff. Orange is her favourite color and she likes to wear scarf too so I’m sure she will be happy of my gift.

MY SISTER-IN LAW’S PREGNANCY

Few weeks ago, I talked with my sister-in-law in Philippines. She told me that she’s pregnant for their 3rd child. Oh my, they are very fast. Anyway, the youngest one is already 2 years old and 4 months. I thought that two kids are enough for them but they still want another one and she told me that this will be the last. Anyway, if that’s makes them happy, then go for it. They already had 1 boy and 1 girl and she just told me a while ago that they will have another baby boy. I’m so happy for them. Next week, we will be sending box to Philippines. I want to send her a cute and sexy maternity dress. I know that she loves to collect sexy clothes and even a sexy maternity dress. PURSE COLLECTION

It’s always been my dreams to have a collection of handbags or purse. But because I was still a student on that time, I can’t afford to buy them. My allowance was not enough to buy even just one purse but I was saving the money if I have extra from my allowance in the week. From the money I saved, I was able to buy my first purse. That’s what I did before; I have to save for my wants. My hubby use to buy me handbags and purses as a surprise gift. Some I like but some I don’t because it’s not me who chose it, it’s my hubby and we don’t have the same taste (men don’t have interest in handbags he he he). Now that I have salary, I have to start collecting handbags. And to start my collection, I found a nice roca wear purse. But this time, I show it to my hubby to give him an idea for my valentine’s gift. I hope this will be his gift for me or else, I will be the one to buy it.

MY FRIEND'S COLLECTION

One of my friends is fan of wooden stuff. She’s collecting different stuff that made of wood. She collects wooden mask and she put it in her living room. There are still lots of missing furniture in the house and just now, she still looking of pure wood furniture. She wants furniture that will match in all of her collections. She’s been to the furniture store and she found what she wants. She told me that she will buy it next week. She almost has everything now and the only missing are wooden blinds that she will put in her windows. I been to her place this morning because she asked me to help her find blinds online. We searched in the net and we found the wooden blinds online. It’s a sunwood range of wooden venetian blinds. She was very happy of what we found because it matches perfectly on her collection and just to think that she loves wooden stuff very much. She showed it to her husband right away and her husband like it very much also. They are both happy and excited to buy the wooden blinds. They want it to be install before March because they were planning to celebrate the birthday party of her husband in their house and invite all their friends so that they will see their new house.

LIVING ROOM ALMOST DONE

This morning hubby started to sand the floor in the living room and put one coat of varnish in the part where the wall was before. The varnish is not yet dry so we have to wait until it gets dry and we will put the second coat. After the second coat will be done, we will have to varnish all over the floor. I still don’t know when we finish this work. I’m really looking forward now to put my Christmas decor.

After the living room, we have to put the ceramic in the stairway but just in the bottom close to the basement. We didn’t finish it last summer because hubby was assigned in Edmonton. It’s not really that bad but its better if we will finish it before Christmas.

I feel pity to hubby because he’s complaining about his knee. He’s working a lot with his knee and it is getting painful now. I’m thinking to buy him tactical pants that I saw online. They have a big sale just now and I guess I will buy one for him.
