MY UPDATES
Hi guys! It’s been long that I didn’t update my blog. We have been away for a few weeks for camping. And there were times that we stayed home for a couple of days but we’re too busy painting the house. We need to finish painting before its getting cold. The entire house is done and all need to be painted is the garage. We don’t know if we will be able to do it this year. We’re trying our best to finish it before winter. But if not, then we will wait next year.
This summer is the best summer I have since I arrived here. The last three summers were not bad. In the first summer way back in 2004, we didn’t travel that much because of my French class. But we have been to California. We spent 2 weeks there. That was my first trip in United States. We have been to Disneyland in the same trip, Sea World, and many other places. In summer 2005, though we did a quite a lot in camping but still it’s the worst summer for me because my dad past away last July 2005. I went to Philippines for the funeral and when I came back here, we drove straight to the camping in the middle of the night from the airport. It’s very hard for me that travel. I still have a jet log and emotional pain because of my dad’s death. It took me a few months before I recover the pain. I’m so thankful that hubby is so understanding. We used to go out so that I can recover quickly. And it really helps me. Then to end the summer, we went to California again. We stayed in San Francisco to my cousin’s place. We stayed there for 12 days. We visited San Cruz, Sacramento, Napa Valley and South Lake Tahoe in Nevada. We had a great time there. In summer 2006, we didn’t use the motorhome because hubby was working in Seattle, Washington. I spent half of my summer there and half here in Quebec. My summer in Seattle was great. We used to go to the islands for a visit. We have been to many places in Washington. But my summer here in Quebec was so lonely. I was alone in the house with no car because I don’t have my driver’s license on that time. It’s quite difficult for me because it was my first time being alone in my whole life. I was crying every night. Good that my online friends help me a lot. I spent most of my time in my laptop.
Then this summer, as I said is the best summer I ever had. We did 50 days of camping. In the first trip, we went to Ontario for 21 days straight. In the first week, we stop 3 camping site. And 1 week in Rideau Acres Camping. And in the third week, we spend 1 week in Ivy Lea/KOA in Thousand Island. And then the rest of the camping was here in Quebec. It was a great vacation we had. And to end the season, we spent 9 days in Ste-Tite for the Western Festival. I took almost 400 photos but I posted just a few.
