US TOUR (MY DREAM)

To see Canada was one of my greatest dream when I was little but  I'm not dreaming it anymore because I live here now. Before I arrived here, hubby asked me what are my dreams and I told him that I wanted to see Disneyland and have a picture with all the my favorite cartoon character. We been to California after 3 months of staying here in Canada. We been to Disneyland and Sea World. It was my first grand vacation. Two years after, we been to San Francisco to visit my cousin and we took that opportunity to explore the other side of California and we been to Nevada as well.

There are still some places of California that I wanted to visit but it's not the priority for now. I want to explore some other state in US. One of them is New York. I been already to some cities in New York State that is close to Quebec but I never been to New York City. I wanted to visit this city and I already talked to my husband about it. He started looking for a cheap ticket and he found some affordable
new york tickets online. I'm so excited and looking forward to this trip. Another dream come true to me :-)

We started to makes some plan to Chicago and Nevada for our next trip. He already checked the
chicago tickets and las vegas tickets online.  There's always  big discount if you buy tickets ahead of time.

BACK TO MY OLD TEMPLATE

I'm so happy that finally I got back to my old template. It's been a while that I'm trying to fix my blog but every time I did it, there's always an error message. I tried to ask help from google team but I didn't received any answer. What I did is I downgraded my blogger account and I change my template and it works :-) I'm so happy that I finally use my old template...

6 DAYS STRAIGHT

I will be working 6 days straight this week because one of my co-worker that use to do the opening every weekend will have her vacation. My boss wasn't able to find one to replace her but me. We have nothing to do this weekend so I took it and I will be off Sunday and Monday. I wanted to have more hours also to put in my time bank so that I can get more paid holidays this summer and hopefully visit my family in Philippines this coming January.

We are still Tuesday and I still have 4 more days to go...ouchh! Just thinking of it makes me feel so week. Too bad, I can't watch the Rodeo this Saturday. I love to watch it but as I said, I will be working. I didn't see the schedules of activity yet and I guess there's still another Rodeo in Sunday.

I hope the weather will be nice so that we can go there and see some of the activities.

PATIO EXTENSION

Hubby decided to extend our lower patio. I like the idea because it gives us more space and nice place to put our BBQ grill and I can put working table and some chair...he started doing this morning alone. He's doing the frame and now we're here at the store to buy some more woods to finish the work. Hopefully, everything will be done by Monday ....I'm looking forward to see our new patio :-)

I LOVE SUSHI

The first time I ate sushi was last 2006 but before that I tried many times to taste it but I didn't. I just can't  take it. Just looking at it, it gave me the feeling to vomit. I really don't know why.

When I met this friend of mine, she introduced me the sushi that she made. She really wanted me to taste it and I'm to shy to say no. I smell it first and then i took a little bite without using a chop stick :-) Well, well, well....I was surprise how good it is. I ate not only one, two, three but lots of sushi. It was the first time I ate sushi and it was like an "eat-all-you-can" sushi.

Since then, I always order sushi every time I feel to have some. Thanks to my friend for introducing me the so yummy sushi :-)

ONE TO ONE COURSE(APERTURE)

When hubby bought me this MacBook Pro, he also purchase a One to One and apple care at the same time. At first, I don't see any use of buying the one to one because I thought I'm good enough to learn the basic of the computer. But hubby bought it without even asking me if I want  it. I been few times already in my one to one course and I learned a lot about some technics in operating this computer. Then I started to realize that it's worth to pay $100 for the one to one course unlimited visit for 1 year.

Then hubby bought another photo software called "APERTURE". There again, I don't see any use of this software because I was using ACDsee in my other laptop and I love it. I know everything in that software that I don't need to use my photoshop. But with the Mac, the ACDsee Pro that I'm using is not yet available in Mac. But the aperture is given and I didn't spend any cent of it so I use it to please  hubby.

This morning, I had my first session in Aperture. Oh boy! There's lots of things in it that I don't have in my other software. It's friendly and I don't need to use my photoshop CS5 too in editing my pictures. My instructor is a big help also because he's a professional photographer. He gaves me a lot of tips in editing photos. I started to love aperture now:-)

I will have my second session this coming May 12 with him again. I'm so excited :-)

ONE YEAR OVER

I'm taking about my Philippines Passport. Yes, it's already expired for over one year. The last time I used it international was 2009 when I visited my family. Then I went to Edmonton, Alberta the year after but it's only a domestic flight so I don't need a passport. Then last year, I never go outside Canada since I started working full-time. I didn't think of checking my passport until 2 weeks ago when I started organizing all my papers stuff since I already have my own filing cabinet. I took my passport and put it in it's place and voila! I just found out that it's already 1 year expired. At first, I didn't feel worry because I know we can renew it by mail like we did the last time but we just found out that to renew that new passport, I need to be there personally. I started to panic since I have a hard time to get a weekdays off. I just took 4 days off before my birthday party because it was a semestral break of the school and somebody can replace my shift.

I told about this to my boss and he was really upset of the situation because the guy that works with me can't do what I'm doing and just my boss and him can't do it during rush hour. I was really praying that somebody can replace me. I was so lucky when I talked to my co-worker (a college student). Her professor in her Pyscho class told them that the don't have class this monday (March 26) so she can work from 11:30 until closing. It's perfect time :-) I took my monday off and I'm here in Ottawa just now to renew my passport tomorrow :-)

Hubby keeps on telling me to apply for a Canadian Citizenship but until now, I didn't apply. Don't ask me why coz even myself don't know why I didn't apply :-) I guess I will wait until I will finish paying the property I bought in Philippines. I still have 1 year and a half left to pay. And after this, I gonna apply for my citizenship :-)
