RED LILY

( red lily from my flower garden)

Hubby planted hundreds of tulips the year before I arrived here because I told him that I wanted to see the real tulips and have it in our own garden. I arrived January 2004 and it was in the middle of winter time. I was so excited for the spring time so that I can see the tulips. But it didn't bloom all of them maybe because it was their first year or maybe because they didn't have enough sunlight. So we decided to relocated all the tulips and so with the lilies ( because hubby planted few lilies at the same time with the tulips).

The year after, all the tulips bloom and it was so beautiful but the lilies didn't. They were all eaten by the insects. We tried to treat them every year but there was no improvement. Last year, we decided to relocate the lilies and voila, my red lilies are all blooming and the yellows are about to bloom soon. I don't have many of the red but I have a lot of yellow.

We are pretty sure now that the lilies didn't like the place where they were before. I'm so happy that we relocated them and we save some of my lilies.
