TRANSFER OF TITLE

My parents gave us residential lot before my dad died. Just recently, I received another piece of land from my mom because this land, mom loan it to the bank and I was the one who paid the loan so after I finished paying, mom gave it to me. Now, all I need to do is to transfer the land title to my name. I need to transfer it to my name before I will come back here after my vacation in Philippines. Until now, I’m still looking for somebody who will work with all the paper works regarding my land because my mom can’t do it anymore alone. I hope my sister can do it before I will arrive there so that all I need to do is sign the papers.

Well, for now, I want to check Maxim Enterprises. Hubby wants to know more about these enterprises because he’s interested on something.

MY FUTURE RESTAURANT

I remember when I was still in Philippines; I didn’t know how to cook not even a simple one. All I know is to cook rice, fried fish and eggs and the rest, I can’t. My dad told me that I have to learn on how to cook because now that I’m married, it’s my duty to cook for my family especially to my husband since we don’t have kids just now. But I always have a reason so that I can’t cook. I told my dad that I will learn cooking as soon as I will be with my hubby and I will ask my hubby to teach me to cook Canadian foods because I’m afraid that he doesn’t like Pilipino foods. On the first few weeks of my stay here, it’s always my hubby who cooked our meals and it’s so sad to say that I don’t like that much on their foods. I’m still looking for Pilipino foods. And the worst is there is no Pilipino restaurant here in our area. We still have to drive 2 and a half hour to go to the Pilipino restaurant. Oh my! I felt that it is really a need for me to try cooking Pilipino foods. I did a few try and it was successful. I was so happy on that time. Since then, I started to surf recipes in the internet and I invited my hubby’s family for Pilipino dinner at home. They were very amazed on my foods. They love it.

My sister-in-law asked me if I would like to have a Pilipino Restaurant here in our area since there is no Philippine restaurant here. Of course I would love to have one and I’m dreaming of it. I talked to hubby about this and he told me that maybe we can do it when he will retire. I’m so excited to have my own restaurant with my specialty, Pilipino foods. Just now, I’m already thinking of what would be the theme of my future restaurant. It would be an exotic restaurant. There would be lots of plants inside the restaurant and all the furniture would be a bamboo style. I made up this idea when I saw this bamboo (chiavari) side chairs in fashionseating.com. I really love that chair and it fits to my theme. It is simple and elegant chair. I can’t wait to have my own restaurant.

MY FRIEND’S DREAM HOUSE

I have this friend from Louisiana that if we talk in the phone, we always talk about homes or houses. We both love to decorate our house and do some design. Just now, she have small house with only 1 bedroom. She and her husband decided to have a bigger house because they will have their first baby soon. She will give birth this coming September this year. She wants to have a room for her baby and another room for her as her workshop. She’s a good painter so she wants to have her own workshop where she can paint without any disturbance. She also wants to have a big backyard where her baby can play in the summer. I gave her some ideas also for her house and she loves my idea. Because we are far from each other, I can’t help her in making the plan. She told me that she and her husband are already looking at Schumacher Homes. She was very happy because Schumacher Homes can build her custom dream house.

MOVING TO CALIFORNIA

Hubby’s cousin is working in California for more than 10 years now. But his family is still here because they don’t want to leave there house empty and they want to keep their house. He always visiting his family 4 times a year and during the school vacation, his family always spends their vacation in California. But because of the crisis today, they decided to sale their house here and the family will move to California. They will be leaving this June after the school.

Yesterday we went to the bank and I open a new bank account exclusive for my family in Philippines. I have automatic transfer from hubby’s account to my own bank account. The transfer will go to my 2 bank account. I have 2 bank accounts at the same name. One is for the house and the other one is for my own. Then yesterday, I open another one because this money transfer that I am into now to send to my family is online transfer.
